Fly fishing is an ancient and distinct angling method, which is fishing with the use of an angle or a hook. It is well-known for catching salmon and trout, but it now also includes a wide variety of species, such as bass, pike, carp, and many more. It is best done in a lake, river, or stream, as in Bugeulyn Lake.

Bugeulyn Lake is a distant 30-acre wild fishery at 1,600 feet deep. The hotel in this area also manages fishing on Tal-y-Lyn Lake. The usual species of fish that can be caught here is the wild brown trout, which weighs over 1 lb, and the largest is around 2 lb. Because several wild trout fish are here, the fisherman can possibly hook a fish every two to three takes in this lake. The best season to do fly fishing here is from 1 April to 17 October, which is the time when wild brown trout are huge. However, the traditional fishing finishes on 30 September, as the fish spawn much earlier than their lowland cousins. The tickets or permits are usually available on the day from the adjacent fishery office at Tynycornel Hotel, and cost £10. The type of venue is a stillwater type, and only one rowing boat is allowed for fishing, for a rental fee of £10. For vacationers who are planning to stay here, they are welcome to enjoy the Tynycornel Hotel. For those who like to visit here, the direction that can be followed is 25 miles south-east of Talyllyn, Wales.
