Chirk Trout Fishery is one of the famous flying fisheries in the United Kingdom, particularly Wales. It boasts about its large reserves of trout in the lake. The several types of fish that can be caught and that weigh up to 10 lb are rainbow trout, brown trout, brook trout, tiger trout, blue trout, and some golden trout. It is open all year round, except for Christmas.

Chirk Fishery prices are: 2 hours, 1 fish - £9.00; 2 hours, 2 fish - £11.00; 2 hours, 3 fish - £13.50; 2 hours, 4 fish - £15.50; 3 hours, 1 fish - £11.00; 3 hours, 2 fish - £13.50; 3 hours, 3 fish - £15.00; 3 hours, 4 fish - £18.00; 4 hours, 1 fish - £13.00; 4 hours, 2 fish - £16.00; 4 hours, 3 fish - £18.00; 4 hours, 4 fish - £19.50; and 8 hours, 6 fish - £23.00. For sporting tickets, prices are: 2 hours - £7.00; 4 hours - £10.00; and 8 hours - £15.00. An adult must accompany children under 16 years of age in fishing with the use of rod, line, and float. The prices for them are: 2 hours, 1 fish - £7.00, and 4 hours, 2 fish - £10.00.

The lunch and equipment to be use are provided on the day. £35 is the normal price for one person per day, but for the initial period, £25 is the price for the venue. If you want to book for three days, the price is £70. As a rule, headgear or baseball cap, sunglasses for eye protection, and appropriate clothing for the kind of weather should be brought before fishing. And a custom usb stick is great for when you get home and want to take your photos with you.
