Dyffryn Springs is the newest high-quality fishing venue located at the centre of the Vale of Glamorgan in the village of Dyffryn. It takes 2 minutes from Culverhouse Cross and 5 minutes on the Junction 33 of M4 to reach the fishery on the westernmost outskirts of Cardiff. Currently, they have six lakes: Thaw, Waycock, Reservoir, Goldsland, Worleton, and Wallace. The lakes are provided with high-quality water coming from their own springs, and are stocked with various species of fish, such as rainbow trout, triploid rainbows, brown, and tiger trout, including roach, tench, bream, ide, perch, and various carp. They are open from 9:00 a.m. Tuesday to Sunday, and from8 a.m. on weekends. They also offer tuition for trout fishing, supervised by Mat Holloway, their resident qualified instructor, who holds a National Instructor's Certificate from the Salmon and Trout Association. Dyffryn Springs has a fully-equipped clubhouse, which offers cold or hot snacks for customers, as well as varieties of fishing tackles.

Implemented rules are the following: all anglers are required to use an Environment Agency Rod Licence; no other animals, radios, wading and fires allowed; anglers should present permits by request, minors must be accompanied with responsible persons (18 and above); do not discard tackle or litter (use the provided bins), and must allow tackle inspections from staff. Allowed tackle includes single hooks (max. size 10), barbless hooks, no droppers and boobies. No night fishing, and for catch and release, only experienced anglers are allowed.

They are available for any inquiries through their contact numbers, provided above.
